IT’S an exciting love month!

Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas tickles funny bones for a funny Valentine in Bohol with the show titled “Live in Concert: Ai Ai Delas Alas” on February 12 at Verdant Pavilion, Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa.

Prince of Pop Erik Santos’ will serenade audiences with romantic songs on February 12 (special guest in Ai Ai delas Alas’ concert in Bohol) and February 14 (with K Brosas, Mark Bautista and Golden Divas at the Manila Hotel. The special show is directed by GB Sampedro). He will then fly to Europe with Pooh and Christian Bautista for a series of shows titled “Champions of the Heart.”

Sharon Cuneta’s birthday concert Part 1

Noong Martes ng gabi, Enero 11, naganap ang birthday concert ni Sharon para sa 2011. Ito’y alay ni Sharon sa kanyang mga tagahanga na patuloy na sumusuporta sa kanya sa loob ng 33 taon niya sa showbiz.

Mapapanood ang concert sa ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best sa Enero 23.

Ipinakilala ni Sharon ang kanyang tatlong co-host para sa concert: sina Eric Santos, K Brosas, at Zanjoe Marudo.

Marami at mahahaba ang gaps ng bawat performance. Sina Eric, K Brosas, at Zanjoe ang nagpataas ng energy ng mga manonood para hindi sila mainip sa paghihintay ng susunod na numbers.

Bentang-benta sa mga manonood ang mga baong joke ng stand-up comedian na si K Brosas, kahit minsan ay nagiging masyado na itong green. “Walang pakialamanan, ie-edit naman ito, e!” depensa niya.

Isa sa mga naka-duet ni Sharon ay si Eric Santos. Kinanta nila ang kanta ni Sharon na “Tawag ng Pag-ibig.”

WAY back when they were still a dozen, we asked Erik Santos who among the Star Power finalists has a big chance of winning. The balladeer’s choice was K-La. “She has the best voice,” said Erik.

In last Sunday’s episode, ibinuko ni Ai Ai delas Alas si Erik by telling one and all that the Star Power co-host has a big crush on K-La. Juror Billy Crawford rode along and tried to corner a slightly embarrassed Erik who attempted to divert the topic back to Star Power.

Earlier, K-La and Vina Morales (whose outfit doubled her size) did a duet of Believe.

Dapat siguro ang nag-duet ay sina K-La at Erik.
