Meeting My Idol in Milan

I first saw Erik Santos when he joined ‘Star In A Million’. I was amazed with his voice then I told myself na sya ang bet ko. Sinubaybayan ko sya hanggang sa manalo na. Halos sya lang lagi ang pinapanood ko sa ASAP. Nung una di ako makapanood ng mga shows nya because I was too young to do that. Then the time came na kailangan ko na pumunta dito sa Milan. But that’s not the end, sabi ko kasi may mga iba pang possibility na masuportahan ko si Erik. Nag-start akong i-fulfill ung dream ko na makita sya nung pangalawang bakasyon ko. Pumunta ako sa mall shows niya sa Imus, Cavite at Batangas. I found that his voice is really awesome. Then I came back here in Milan to go back to school. Halos every other day napasok ako sa ESFO site and every day check ko ang ESFO Facebook. Lagi ako nag memessage noon kay Erik to say that he is my idol, then one day I opened my facebook, I have a friend request from Erik. I was shocked, I never expected that Erik Santos will add me.

At dumating na ung pinaka hihintay kong moment na makapunta siya dito. Nung una sabi ng producer, October daw then na move ng February then March. Sabi ko di na yata tuloy kasi pangatlong beses na na move. But still I’m hoping that he will come here. Nung sinabi na sa TCF commercial ung show date, tumawag agad ako para bumili ng VIP ticket. Wala raw meet and greet, so I contacted Tita Bam & Miss Joan of ESFO. They sent me a picture for the banner na pinagawa ko agad kahit mahirap maghanap dito sa Milan ng ganun. I was so excited nung makuha ko na ung banner only to find out na baka bawal and baka daw magalit ung manonood. Yung director ng show though, said na pwede naman daw. The day came, moment na namin to see my idol. The venue was so crowded. Walang pirmahan because sobrang dami nga tao kaya nakiusap kami sa staff na makita si Erik to give my gift personally. They said sumunod na lang kami sa mall to see them. We saw Miss Dhang sa labas ng mall then we asked her to see Erik. Pumasok kami sa mall to see him then when he saw me, he asked me kung ako ba daw si Ralph. I said yes and nice to meet you. He thanked me for the effort then we had pictures. I’m so thankful because he is so nice and kind dahil pinasalamatan nya ako during the concert. My friends heard na ako daw yung pinasalamatan ni Erik before he sang. That was a dream come true for me. Thanks to Tita Bam and Miss Joan for the kindness, hope to meet you soon. You’re the best ESFO family!
