erik santosMANILA, Philippines — Erik Santos makes his professional musical theatre stage debut via the upcoming Broadway Musical Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”

Atlantis Productions, which recently staged the hit musical “Next To Normal” and will soon open the Elton John/Tim Rice pop rock musical “Aida,” has found its Prince Eric in Erik. Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” is set for Nov. 18-Dec. 11 run at the Meralco Theatre.

“Prince of Pop” Erik Santos and “Star Power” Female Pop Superstar Angeline Quinto got the grand assignment of singing the 25th anniversary jingle of DZMM, the number one AM radio station in Mega Manila and the country’s leading cable news channel.

Erik and Angeline now join a prominent list of Filipino artists like Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and international singing sensation Charice Pempengco who have sung the Jessie Lasaten-penned jingle.
