Multi-platinum singing champ and TV personality Erik Santos will be having his first solo concert for the year this coming August 2011. Entitled Power Ikons, the show will feature the singing heartthrob paying tribute to the icons of popular music and OPM in a concert to benefit the Bosom Buddies Cancer-Foundation.

This charitable event will feature an excellent production that will highlight Erik Santos’ high caliber prowess in singing and performing. The show will be held at the storied Music Museum for two nights in Aug. 12 and 13.

Erik Santos will share the stage with Star Power grand champion Angeline Quinto, Miss Saigon-Germany lead theatre actress Stephanie Reese, the G-Force Dancers and TV and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez.

The singer, who came into prominence seven years ago by acing the top honors for Star In A Million, is a multi-awarded performer and has been labeled numerous times as the best male artist in several award giving bodies such as the Awit Awards, Aliw Award and the Myx Music Awards to name a few. He is also a best selling recording artist and has already proven his mettle thru his various platinum selling albums.

Erik’s charitable turn to benefit the Bosom Buddies Cancer Foundation is the singer’s way of giving back to share his blessings and his way of promoting his staunch support for Breast cancer research, prevention and care. In fact, the show was borne out of Santos’ concept. The title Power Ikons is itself a play on the singer’s name.

The Power Ikons show also signals Erik Santos’ transcendence into a higher level of professional artistry, where the singer takes his rightful “icon” status among the greats of OPM music.
