“It’s one way of giving back kung ano ’yung na-experience ko throughout my eight years sa industriya. Para akong mentor, parang sort of mentoring young people para matutong kumanta.

Talagang nandiyan sila to support,” kuwento pa ng Pop Prince.

— Reports from JAMES C. CANTOS

erik santosMANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup showed a lighter side of herself as she talked about her showbiz crushes—Erik Santos and Jericho Rosales—in her guest appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice” last Oct. 9.

The GenSan beauty said she’s had a crush on Erik when she was in college at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, where she graduated magna cum laude in Architecture.

“Sobrang gustung-gusto ko siyang kumanta. Parang idol, ganon,” said she.

Although she said she’s not the “fanatic type [na] ‘yung talagang sinusundan ko lahat ng shows,” Shamcey apparently had her fan girl moment of sorts with Erik.

“There was this poster of him sa may building sa UP tapos kinuha ko ‘yung poster niya.

Asked if she had seen him in person, Shamcey answered in the affirmative.
