It’s the 7th!

It’s the 7th annual ESFO Christmas / Anniversary party held last December 20.

‘Ang saya ng party yun lang!’ All ESFO members were dressed up like Korean pop superstars and also, the whole venue was set up with colorful balloons. Party mode! As the program was started with an opening prayer by kuya Glenn then it was followed by an introduction from the hosts; Maia and Marvey. After which kainan mode na! Everyone enjoyed the sumptuous food, and wollah! Everyone was surprised when the star of the night came out! Beaming with smile for everybody, no other than ERIK SANTOS! ang gwapo!; then after that, games were started, laugh trip! There’s that game with an eggplant pa! Then a game with balloons nakakatuwa! Nag-enjoy naman ang lahat! Then after, was the ever famous exchanging of gifts; hihi; I was so privileged enough na ang baby ko ay ang prince of pop hihi kiligness! – That was the moment na na-stun ako ng bonggang bongga; then all of us enjoyed the gifts that we received.

As an icebreaker; some of the ESFO members prepared a song prod, hindi lang basta song prod ha, the repertoire was mainly all Erik Santos hits, and as to the performers napaka-challenging at iniisip nila na sana mabigyan nila ng justice yung mga hits ng prince of pop. Before the song prod started; nag-explain pa si doc Philip – na sana maunawaan kung hindi kagandahan ang magiging kinalabasan ng mga awit, then the prince replied na- “basta kayo ang kumanta maganda yan” all of the performers then were merely motivated to sing and really just to have fun and entertain the crowd. ‘kaw ba naman kumanta ka sa harap ng isang star in a million grand champion ewan ko na lang kung hindi ka mapa-curly toes haha just kidding! Music was arranged by kuya Edwin, the performers were; Glenn, Archie, Philip, Edwin and me. Nakakatuwa lang na while they’re singing eh makikita mong appreciated ng prinsipe ang bawat awit, hay iba ka talaga Erik!

Then after which sayawan naman! The dance prod was Korean dance inspired and was led by Gino, Arvin, Ria, Philip. Hataw kung hataw! Pero walang tatalo sa video dance prod ni tita Bam! Amazing! Lahat ng nandun sa venue ay nasiyahan at aliw na aliw kay tita Bam! Cheers! ESFO globies also shared their greetings for Erik & ESFO.

A video presentation was also played for Erik. Then an extreme surprise for the prince was launched! IGNITE! A magazine written and produced by ESFO which highlights the whole 2010 of the prince, hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ng nakararami na sobrang andaming nangyari na maganda sa prinsipe this year and he’s been really blessed.

Ang saya lang isipin na in a way napasaya ang prinsipe nung gabing yun; tawanan, kulitan ang nangibabaw. Walang dead air, I mean walang dull moments puro saya talaga! And to end the whole thing, isang makabagbag damdaming speech ang ibinigay ni Erik para sa ESFO isang sona?! Nagpasasalamat para sa lahat; para sa kanyang pamilya at mga kaibigan. Really thou that was touching!

It has been an experience worthy of all the greatest memories to keep! All hardships were paid off. Hindi ba mga ate at kuya? Te Wheng, te EJ, kuya Da, tita Bam, te Eli, te Mhe at sa lahat ng dumalo at naki-isa sa isang makabuluhang kasiyahang iyon. Sadyang sa mga ganiotng pagkakataon mapapatuanayan mo ang pagkakaisa ng ESFO mula sa venue selection, theme, program, magazine, mga souvenirs eh walang makakakapantay sa dedikasyon at kasipagan na kayang ialay ng bawat isa para sa isang grupong pagtitibayin pa ng mas marami pang taon at syempre para sa nag-iisang prince of pop, Erik Santos.

‘hindi mo alam kung hanggang kelan tayo magsasama-sama pero hangga’t may musika at magandang awit na magmumula sa iyo, the melody of what we have will be forever, the rhythm of our camaraderie will be as stronger and the pitch of our love will be higher, as the notes of your each song are there…..
