Dubbed the King and Queen of Theme Songs, Angeline Quinto and Erik Santos are gossip fodder anew with wags alleging they’re in a relationship.

mb artikThat the two were being seen together constantly only added fuel to the fire.

The real score? Nothing much, really. Apparently, they’re just friends. Or something.

“Alam ko halos lahat ganu’n ang sinasabi pero kasi sa amin wala naman po talaga kaming aaminin. Kung sakali man maging kami, hindi naman namin itatago ’yun,” Angeline said.

Erik, on his part, added, “Kasi ang hirap bigyan ng label kung ano ’yung meron kami eh. Pero sabi ko nga, kung hindi talaga kami, hindi. Kasi hindi naman talaga eh. Ayaw naman namin i-mislead ’yung mga tao na hindi naman talaga kami tapos sasabihin namin kami.”

Hindi maiwasang hingan ng opinyon sina Erik Santos at Angeline Quinto kaugnay ng isyu tungkol sa non-singers na nagli-lip sync kapag nagpe-perform sa musical-variety shows sa telebisyon.

Sina Erik at Angeline ang dalawa sa itinuturing na pinakamahusay na singers sa Pilipinas.

Nag-ugat ang isyung ito sa pahayag ni Rhap Salazar, dating kampeon ng 13th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), hinggil sa non-singers na nagli-lip sync at nagkakaroon pa ng record albums.
